Is Carstens Fine Art Gallery closed?
Yes. As of September 15, 2025, Carstens Fine Art Gallery closed. However, Cyndy is maintaining a studio and continues to paint canvases focusing on the extraordinary light and landscape of the Southwest and West.
Are all the artworks for sale original paintings?
Primarily, artworks at Carstens Fine Art are original paintings or drawings.
However, giclee prints are available by custom order. Pricing of giclee prints is based on the size. All giclee prints are hand-embellished by Artist Cyndy Carstens giving each artwork the look and feel of the original painting. Each giclee print is signed, numbered and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

What is a giclee print?
A giclee print is a museum-quality reproduction of a painting on canvas using archival inks. “Giclee” is French, meaning “to spray”. The inks are sprayed using the micro-jets of a printer onto a surface of canvas. After being embellished by Artist Cyndy Carstens, a final varnish is applied for protection from moisture and UV rays.
Do you ship art?
Yes, Carstens will oversee careful packaging and use only reliable/professional shipping vendors for artworks that require shipment.
Do you install art?
Carstens uses professional delivery and installation experts and will oversee installation when needed or requested.
Do you accept commissions?
At this time, Cyndy is taking a step back from commissioned work to focus on her painting for exhibitions.
What are my options for framing?
Most paintings are framed using high-quality custom frames selected based on what compliments each piece. However, frames are subject to taste and can be changed. Artworks can also be purchased without framing or Cyndy can help you make framing selections.
Can artworks be purchased online?
Yes, but not in a traditional sense. For paintings available through Artisor Gallery, a live link is attached to the description of each piece.
